When I was approached to create a brand identity for a supper club in Monterrey, California, the first place my head went was John Steinbeck. If you’re privvy to any of his lore, you’ll know he was based out of Salinas Valley for most of his life, and was quite attached to the drawing known as the pigasus.

This design, created in 2023, has since garnered over 1 million impressions on Pinterest and counting.
