I've always been fascinated by Branding. The psychology, the strategy, the intentionality it takes to make it stick, all of it.
That obsession has quietly pulled every other passion I have into its orbit, including photography, which started over 20 years ago with a Canon point-and-shoot and a lot of ill-advised Facebook albums (remember those?). When a small Colorado brewery hired me after seeing my photography portfolio, knowing they needed compelling, storytelling imagery to help their beers stand out in a crowded Colorado market, I realized pretty quickly that great photography alone wasn't going to cut it with my lofty marketing goals. Their brand story needed to extend further—onto the cans, the menus, the signage, social, everywhere. So, I taught myself graphic design. That was eleven years ago. More than 100 packaging designs, hundreds of social graphics, and 30-plus brand identity systems later, "designer" is very much part of the title.
Since then, I've built brand platforms from the ground up, launched products across B2B and B2C markets, and led campaigns with budgets ranging from $1,000 to $2 million, always with the same belief that great branding isn't decoration, it's decision-making. At Viega, I developed the company's first Employee Value Proposition and grew qualified applicants by 30 percent in three months. At Uncommon Cult, my freelance hustle focusing on brand strategy, management, and design, I've partnered with 20-plus companies across hospitality, tech, CPG, and real estate to build brand foundations that actually hold up and produce real ROI. Today, I lead as a Brand and Design Director at a national creative agency, which is a fancy way of saying I turned my hobby into a long-term, progressive career and I have zero plans of stopping there.
